The Onyx My Flame app lets you control your Onyx electric fires range of features from your smartphone or tablet, and really does unlock the full potential of your fire. Before you begin, make sure your wifi network is active. A wifi connection is needed to connect the internet and to pair the file with your smart device. Depending on whether you have an Apple or Android device, go to either the Apple or Google Play stores. Locate the app by searching for MUS Flame. Download and open the app on your smart device. Once downloaded, you'll need to sign in, register for an account by entering your email address. You'll then receive a verification code by email on the app. Enter the verification code you've just received and select add device. On the next screen, you will see A, B, and C. Select A Enter your wifi network and password. Click next and if your fire is off, turn it on. Now. The wifi connection will need to be put into pairing mode's progress in the app screen. Press and hold the wifi button on your file for three seconds until a beep is herd and a fuel bed flashes. To denote the device is in pairing mode. Confirm the indicator is blinking, and click next to proceed. The app will then search and add your fire to the app. Once added, the fuel bed will glow a solid color. Now that we've got the My Flame App set up for your Onyx fire, let's run through some basic controls to get you started. Please note that advance features and therefore the app features may vary slightly between different fires. For more detailed instructions, please consult the My Flame App guide supplied with your fire. Turn on your Onyx fire using the power button next to the fire's name on the app. Then press the name again and the device will enter the home screen. Here you can control the room temperature manually using a circular scroll wheel in the center of the screen. The target temperature is displayed in the middle with a small number above indicating the current room temperature. The flame or main flame can be operated manually from the home screen by selecting the flame symbol. This displays the flame color scroll wheel, which can be used to adjust the shade with sliders below. To adjust the brightness, a basic timer can be set from the home screen by pressing the hourglass timer symbol. From here, you can select the time after which your fire will turn off to adjust your fires. Other visual settings access the advanced menu at the top left of the screen. The advanced menu display showing each of your fire's visual effects, which may differ slightly depending on which fire you have. Tap any of these to display their individual adjustment screens. Use the color wheel to select from the various lighting shades and adjust brightness with the slider below. The Handy My Flame option on advanced menu gives six preset flame and lighting combinations to set your fire easily and quickly too. Presets One to three are realistic color combinations for a natural authentic fire look. Presets four to six provide a variety of contemporary visuals while slot seven, eight, and nine are all plain and can be used to save your own custom combinations for easy access in the future. Once you've set up a flame and lighting combination you like, you can save this as a custom preset. Open the advanced menu and choose my flame. Then choose my flame, save and select from slot seven, eight, or nine to overarch with your preferred setting. The advanced menu also allows you to create a separate program for both flames and heater function, which lets you program up to four time periods a day and up to three different weekly schedules. Tap either the Set Flame or set Heat program and select the time slot for your required start time and end times as well as the target temperatures. Choose which weekdays you'd like the program to repeat on. Then tap Save to save the program. These time slots let you save various programs to suit different days of the week. Please note this feature is only available when using the My Flame App. The My Flame Map has many customizable features that realize the full potential of these fantastic Onyx electric fires.
