Typically, when installing an electric fire in a conventional installation like a media wall, the fire would be installed within the recess first and then the exposed parts of the housing boarded over. Neatly concealing any minor plastering imperfections around the opening, Avita fires all come with an Edge+ finishing frame included for single-sided installations, providing a clean, modern border.
Better still, when using the Edge XL frame, simply slot the fire into a pre-prepared and finished chamber opening, and the frame’s wider profile will completely cover the fire’s exterior. Choosing the size of your Avita electric fire and your TV will come down to both the space you have available and your personal preference. Actual TV sizes vary across manufacturers, and the way your TV is fitted (for example into a cavity recess) will also impact the way it looks in relation to your Avita fire.
